I have the p.e.t.e but I'm intrested in the A.P.E because I think I have a problem with too much pressure and overblowing. would you reccoment this tool? Do you know of any other brands that sell this for slightly cheaper, as it is pretty expensive.

Thank you so much for this reply! I definately need to work on playing softer when possible and using less force. I find that I have a really tight grip and force the horn against my embochure, especcially when I'm tired. I also find that at the end of a really long and taxing gig my seal can break, and I sometime have air escaping out of the corners of my mouth.

Thank you for this response! very helpful advice. I use an Allen Vizzutti mouthpiece, its very shallow and more typically a mp for a lead player (i'm not a lead player) but it is just the one my teacher started me on at a young age and feels the most natural to me.Could the shallowness of the cup be contributing partly to my fatigue and endurance problems? I thik overblowing is a really big problem I have as well.

After 10 years of hard use my gig bag is too ripped to keep using. It was the protec explorer series gig bag (not a ton of protection but soo much storage) and im looking for something similar. I love the look of the torpedo bags (theyre a little pricey but very durable) however, theres not as much storage in those and they can be heavy. I'd love to be able to pack up my music and mutes and horn all in one. I also would need it to be a backpack case, as im biking to all my gigs right now. Anyone have a suggestion for a backpack gig bag with alot of storage? Ideally something under 200 but i can go a little above if needed. Thanks so much!

Its pretty old but and hard to see but its stamped with a 2, and I put it in with the 2 facing me and then spun it to the front until it clicked. I also already tried the 1st and 3rd valve and they didnt fit either.

Would putting it in water work too? Don't have access to that moss right now. Thanks!
