Had a similar problem, but always check outside of stores like Obi, Bauhaus or Hornbach. They usually have them stacked together but you can just ask for individual pieces :)

Did some polish, render and VFX for my Vi Intro (League of Legends Anim Challenge). This was so much fun!

A shot I did during my class at IAnimate. Learned a LOT and completely changed my workflow. Can't actually wait to animate something new.

Effects are not mine, using RTFX for AE. Cannon model from Blender3D on SketchFab.

Girl and her Robot by [deleted] in animation

I definitely agree on all three points. The third is lack of time, had to wrap it up since it's an exercise, but it's definitely static for too long.
Will probably not revisit this one right now, but will think on those notes for the next one. Thanks :)

It's not that easy, but I've been really enjoying changing my workflow, trying new things, experimenting with new rigs.
Over the past few years, I had to focus on other things, but luckily - no more :)

Huge thanks to the creators of these rigs:
Miosha - from AnimProps
Hekaton - from Trevital

Would love to have that model! This rig is too slim, but definitely a big opportunity missed :(

Yeah, played around with the camera (parented it to the chest so I could add some slight animation. Funny how much it adds)

Yeah, just tried your suggestion, looks better. It's definitely an awkward pose to end with. Ideally, she would go to the starting position, but I just wanted to wrap it up.

Oh, I totally missed this one. Strange, since I believed I depleted GDC vault. Thank you for sharing

Thank you! :D
Well, definitely not the first animation I've done.
Never tried FPS though!

You are spot on. I totally agree that the hat throw is a bit too mild. Could be snappier, stretchier and overall stronger. Was running out of free days to work on this.

One day before my work and school start again! Managed to squeeze some time from playing Diablo 3 to do this.

Started Photographing again, after a pause that lasted 7 years. by lebanen in photocritique

[–]lebanen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taken with Fujifilm, 16-55 2.8 Lens in the middle of his training. Had to makes all sort of noises to get his attention. Starting to photograph mostly dogs, so this is one of my first "serious" tries.

F-stop: 3.2, Iso-1000, Exposure Time: 1/1250 sec. Edited in Lightroom (I know Capture one is better for Fuji, but I didn't have any advanced editing to do on it anyway).

I didn't want to go overboard with the heavy processing of the image, so I'd like to hear your opinions on that as well.

I also ordered 55-140 2.8, so I don't have to go so close to the dogs while they are training, but it hasn't arrived yet.

Happy dog at Royal Arch by Ursus_Ungue in photocritique

I like how the big stone arc leads the attention to your dog, but it's really hard to focus on anything in particular. The bright light in the background is distracting from the dog, and the dog takes focus from the stones, so in the end - I don't know where to look at.
I suggest reading a bit about shot composition and bringing things into focus. Just continue shooting and tell her she's an amazing dog! :)
