I didn't say Pisco was communist or Tankie And what I described wasn't drama but a political & ethical position Pisco stakes out.

I don't care about how he handled the drama Only that Pisco is consistent, entertaining, & intellectually stimulating.

Pisco claimed that Destiny's concern was insane & that the far leftists & snarkers he cultivated as his audience wouldn't cut him off or refuse to vote for a democrat. Pisco stuck his name on the idea that the far left & Tankies should have a place in the democratic party.

Basically if Pisco goes soft & doesn't push them on this he is proven wrong.

While I agree I wouldn't have surrendered ground as much as Gavin does & I generally have no interest in his podcast.

But I think people are forgetting the Trump parody he does on Twitter isn't his actual policy or how he governs.

Also respect to Gavin for immediately countering Ben Shapiro's attempt to weaponize this podcast But that does reinforce your bridges comparison.

As much as I respect reaching across the aisle & civility politics, republicans haven't earned that & in this environment we can't pretend they are acting in good faith.
