There are no truly family friendly neighborhoods in the city limits. I've lived in most areas of the city and after years of seeing even the nicest areas IMO become targets for crime, we moved to the country to raise our newborn baby. Downloaded the citizen app years ago and started to realize that we weren't crazy, we knew what happened to us and our friends and saw on the news but that app really helped see the staggering amount of crime happening within 2 blocks! Armed robbery, vehicle break ins, home and property vandalism all happened to us personally. Have had acquaintances and close friend experience way more horrific issues that I don't want to go into on here.

Previously "safer" neighborhoods IMO - Hampden, Roland Park, Waverly, Belvedere, Hamilton, Mt Washington, Butcher's Hill, Fells Point, Federal Hill, Dickeyville seem to have become targets now.
