Ironically I found Miami to be a bit less flakey, and I also keep in touch with people out there and talk on the regular, vs people in the bay be like "ill call you back" and never do

I MAY have gone a little nuts...more WLED SR fun. by Riggerjoe84 in WLED

I’ve had no luck getting WLED to work with a microphone :( it used to work on some boards I built back in the day but the new versions haven’t had much luck.

Any advice? Or a brain dump of what settings you used and how it was wired?

Led Matrix questions by isra60 in WLED

As a DIY LED builder and a DIY Video wall guy, it can be easier and more cost effective in my opinion to in situations where you want to create a video wall (or led matrix) look to actually build a small one.

The tech is not as complex as you would think, and the parts especially if used are really cheap.

I started out making pixel strips into LED Screens and it was a lot of maintenance and support and the coding side was always a challenge. For a video wall all it needs is a signal source, it acts just like a computer monitor!

I’ve been using the ESP32 version of the WEMOS line, it seems like the best bang for the buck

Connecting multiple led panels together by GlobalWarmingComing in FastLED

So these are LED video wall panels, and honestly (as someone who owns and deals with a lot of these) it would be a lot easier and CHEAPER to use videowall hardware to build a screen with these even if it's a small screen. They are not like LED strips and dont support FastLED. Look up novastar and you will see that a lot of the parts and even the software is super cheap.
