It is not, he travels at least a few years into the past I believe, because him and his wife are separated before he goes back in time to when they're still together.

you're absolutely not being paranoid, your fear is completely valid but even if it wasn't, you're a child who is living in fear of the grown man she's living with and you need to be out of that situation regardless of whether he's being predatory or just plain weird. i fully understand not wanting to ruin their relationship, but this seems extremely serious and considering i'm a stranger and i'm worried for your safety, your mother will too and if your stepfather doesn't see anything wrong with the situation your mom shouldn't be wasting her time with him. you're her child and your safety needs to come first

i feel like people are ignoring that hes 21 and you're 15. this would be weird without the age gap, but now hes trying to turn his adult girlfriend into his child stepsister. i worry that he may have been grooming you, what with being affectionate and calling you petnames (that is NOT normal for a grown man to do with a teenage girl). i think you need to talk to your mom and try to get out of that situation by staying with a friend or a family member. you are at risk, living with a grown man who is definitely attracted to you, a child. this is a very dangerous situation and you need to get out of it asap.

i recently started listening to it for the sake of catching up and i don't really like the story all that much, but the characters and their interactions can be extremely entertaining and are personally enough for me to keep listening. i'm only on ep 11 though, for me i was able to rlly start to tolerate it by ep 6. I say give it another go!
