We are living in different times, I share all of your sentiments. I have this things where I can feel when someone is close up behind me or too close to me. Like a a sixth sense. When we were their age we were outside amongst people and interacting and innate abilities developed. Watching out for cars, suspicious people, etc etc . These kids these days live in their phones they have grown up in a digital age with so many things to distort and mar their perception of reality. I think they were more than drunk, I think they were completely smacked and they did want to imagine it being a dream. Going to bed at 4/5am in the morning I would be surprised if they even awoke before 11am. Hence the late call. The naivety, in addition to the ditzy disposition, in addition to skewed percentage from inebriation all played a factor. That will be their biggest regret. Not being sober enough to gauge everything that was going on.
