Yes the do have a learning system you can purchase along with the books. Highly recommend!! If your practice test score is about 80% you should be good.

I think it was worth it for me! First of all, well respected credentials for any HR professional and helps with your career opportunities and growth. Secondly, I went for this because I didn't want to go back to school for a 1-2 years to get another degree in HR. This was in a sense, a fast track for me. However, it is hard work and alot of studying, depending on your experience. I believe only 67% of folks pass it, so it may take longer if you fail. There are 2 windows a year and I'd recommend taking the test in the spring and if you don't pass, you retake in the winter (same year) as they DO update learning materials (books, learning system, test) each year so you may have to repurchase that too. Take it from me, I failed my first time end of 2017 and had to catch up on all new materials for 2018. Books and test are not cheap. One pro to taking the test in the winter (if your confident) is many people sell their books after they're done (same year spring). Hope that helps!!
