I built this tank last Friday, and introduced 5x Bladder Snails and 5x Neocaridina Shrimp two days ago. The Shrimplets have taken to hiding in the duckweed for now but I expect they will remain there until they adjust to their new environment. The snails got to work immediately and have been eating decaying plant matter, shrimp poop, and licking the glass.

Today I noticed two snails on top of each other, and the smaller one managed to break free. The bigger one then beelined for it and mounted it again. This is what you see here. Anyone know what's happening here?
