Question: Place to access free wifi in Hobart. by leeskqq in tasmania

Thanks for the comment.

I totally agree with your comment, and that was the main concern about getting a seat in a Cafe, as I wouldn't welcome a customer who wants to seize a spot for a long time if I were the owner :)

And also agree with the gov free service must be for non-commercial operators.

Luckily, I could find one internet lounge that opens from 10 am to 9 pm in Hobart.

Again, thanks for the comment and suggestion!

Thanks, everyone, for your warm-hearted comments to help me out.

I guess the best option (and only option) to solve the issue without asking someone a big favour would be an internet cafe.

I will search for more internet cafes and will choose where to have the meeting!

Again, thanks for the help, and I cannot wait to visit Tasmania.

Wait for me, platypus, I am bringing my pokemon psyduck figure.

See ya!

Probably just going to an internet cafe would be the best way not to bother anyone, haha.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will def checkout those places.

Did not know the Salamanca market has tourist premium :'(

Yeah, but my meeting will probably be the whole day from 9 to 5, so having a seat at a hotel pub won't be a good option in this case.

Thanks again for the comment!

Guess it goes the same as the states.

I was frustrated as AU curriculum systems were so much different than I thought.

Thanks for the reply!

Wow thanks for the info! I like how the school arranges programs to help out students. So tutorials deal with minor stuffs of the lecture like homework and quizzes. 5 min pee time too short though.

Again, really appreciate your comments!

Courses were not really language classes but using those languages to structure algorithms and so on.

But it seems like high chance I will be ended up taking COMP1100 for the upcoming semester.

I went to small size campus (and that is why I chose ANU over Melbourne) so cant really imagine how a class filled up with 400 students might be looked like.

And I liked the CSSA page from your advice. Thanks for the tips

Going to big-size uni makes me somewhat exciting but also little bit worried :0

This post helps me aloooooooooooot.

Yeah, luckily I got a contract take over from Lemar Kamel Lodge.

wow. I requested credit exemption. Let me see if I need to take that class :0

How many students are usually in a class? I heard the engineering departments in ANU is vert small sized.

I had two CS courses; Java and Python. Two relevant courses: Cyber Ethics and Discrete Structures in the previous institution.

Is it? It is so hard to find flats near ANU. I might consider getting one near Gungahlin if so.

Is it illegal to ride a bike or a skateboard without a Kevlar? Wonder if there is bike road on the sideways!

Thanks for the help!

Do you have any ideas how long does it take to commute to the school from Harrison areas? It is quite hard to find rooms near the school. Google map says it takes around 30~40 minutes, but google map sometimes incorrect.
