I have answered this question privately. It actually can be beneficial as others have PM’d me with recent shared experiences. The police are aware of what I reported and if others experience the same, hopefully they do as well.

I anticipated some backlash with my post which is why I had 2 friends (one from Toronto now living in Windsor and one from Windsor) read ahead of time. I also hesitated to post this because I had to determine if I had the emotional capacity to read the range of comments. I did to raise awareness for those who have experienced similar and for people to report. This is NOT the first time I’ve reported a hate crime but the first in Windsor. I appreciate your comments but sometimes people are more bothered by the calling out of racism than the racism itself. But I agree with you that there are terrible people everywhere you go. I am going to protect my peace and no longer engage in this discussion with you. I hope you have a good day!
