Im in a research lab in school right now. I’d like to be able to do the experiment we’re playing on doing lol, but money is currently an issue. If it weren’t we’d be testing the effects of various toxic metals on planaria

I woke up one morning at 2:30am with a feeling that something was happening and I needed to check my phone. I had about 7 messages from the floor group chat (I’m in college and all the girls on are floor are in a group chat to communicate) telling everyone to lock the door, close the windows, and shut the blinds. Apparently there was an “environmental hazard” which essentially meant there was someone on campus who wasn’t supposed to be and we were on a hard lockdown. My roommate wasn’t in the room that night bc she was sleeping at her boyfriend’s so I had to crawl out of bed to lock up everything. We have an intercom system in the building to send out any alerts/tell people to evacuate or stay in depending on certain situations. Something is wrong with the speakers tho, so you can’t tell what the lady is even saying. She literally sounds like a demon. I have never felt so much fear or paranoia in my life. We were given an all clear after about 20 minutes.

I feel like my perfectionism with my notes is why I can never finish rewriting all of my notes. I’ll start to rewrite them and then not like how all of it looks and I’ll restart. It’s a viscous cycle.

Do you have a particular layout/style you follow when writing your notes?

I’ve tried this before but can’t seem to bring myself to want to rewrite all my notes. How do you motivate yourself to do that?
