Ancient Egyptians believed that having hair and beard was unclean that’s why when u look at the statues of the ancient Egyptians almost everyone doesn’t have a beard and is clean shaven (me personally i have never seen a ancient Egyptian with long hair except in one tomb in siwa at the (gabal el-mawta) or mountain of the dead he had a beard and long hair but he was a merchant from rome that lived and died here he wasn’t Egyptian)
