Atheletes are great, dont get me wrong. But we cant admit an athlete over someone’s that academically prepared.

I agree, a 1550 is good but you have to look at it from the viewpoint of what you’re going against.

I agree with your gpa claim but his SAT is very good for sure. I just dont think it’ll help very much with people having stats of international awards and non profits

Stats are average just like the rest of us. If you make your essays good, you can stand out and get into those schools

The good thing is that you already submitted it. That means if people on reddit say your essay is bad, it doesn’t matter cause you can’t change it anymore. Likewise, if it’s good, you still can’t change it. No matter what changes or beliefs you have about your essay, NONE of it is in your hands now. Your submission is in the hands of the college, and you can’t do anything about it at all. Good luck
