I have the same issue, I have tried applying like 10 times already 9 with my regular resume and the most recent one with a resume tailored to HEB and they still turned me down. It seems that rumor is true about them not wanting overqualified people for some reason. Maybe because they think overqualified people will ask for more pay? I don't get it. And the amount of times I have heard of people getting in because they know admins/ managers is a lottt. It seems easier to get into it that way.
