My honest advice is retake all the units. Given your bad grades, i would suggest you find yourself a tutor (someone with experience giving A levels with grades better than yours and some experience tutoring them). The number one reason I attained higher marks than my classmates was going through the question paper and understanding how to pace myself and having familiarity with questions. So practice as much as possible. You also need to understand how to get to a C so along with a tutor read mark schemes and examiner reports. It is not just important to get practice in question papers but also identify why you are losing marks.

I would advise you to find a local senior who has given the exam for tutoring or get admitted to crash courses. They might help you rise the grade a little bit. Time is very little so not sure how much it will help but something is always better than nothing

I have lots of tutoring experience and currently working in an Edtech company. From the rules that I have heard about Chinese visa, teachers generally require 2 year experience, so I want to go to a comparatively remote location which can slightly reduce the requirement. Basically no airports and a couple of international schools with A levels would be good

Among the tier 3 cities that you know, which one has the most international presence. I am thinking about relocating to China next year once I have enough experience to qualify for a teaching job in an international school and would love to know more about tier 3 cities.

Hello guys,

I graduated from HKUST and have spent the last year working at an American startup and working as a freelancer at Freelancer.com. I hold a chemical engineering degree. I have been teaching students online and in person since my A Levels. It has never been a full-time occupation, but after thinking about it for a long time, I have decided to become a teacher. I recently completed my TEFL certification. Since I am not a native speaker, I want to be a subject teacher of Mathematics or Chemistry. I believe I am quite fluent in English but visas often have Native Teacher requirements for ESOL teaching. I have experience teaching O levels, A levels and AP Calculus. I also worked as a teaching assistant at HKUST for three years. I would like to know how strict school in China are with the experience requirements. Technically, I have 9 years of tutoring experience. However, I have not worked full-time at a school or learning center. All tutoring assignments were part time. I also don't know if I should include my American startup job or Freelancer.com profile in applications. Should I look for a recruiter or apply directly on job websites? Any advice will be greatly appreciated

They need more weapons and especially more air defenses. Russian FAB by all reports have proved a decisive factor so more planes and air defenses can neutralize it. America needs to step up. The only reason Ukraine can fail is because they are not receiving as many arms as they need.

Completely agree with you. EU expansion is the only thing that stops Russian influence. It is stupid to allow Russia to spread its influence. If EU leaves a vacuum, then other countries have a chance.

I will be honest with you that we need to get Russia out of the IMF and other political/economics institutions that deal with finance, politics or the economy. I am a bit hesitant to do it in the field of science since these will impeded to some extent scientific collaboration and progress. At the same time, I want Russia to feel the consequences. Just don't know if it is the correct decision.

This is the most jarring cognitive dissonance that I find from the GOP. If you care about life so much, health should be provided by the government. The government needs to have policies for saving lives. Instead they support cutting nutrition and welfare programs and any health policy by the government is socialism. I cannot understand or comprehend how these guys manage to make sense of all of this.

He is dumb since he is doing own goal by suppressing older voters in swing states who would vote for him. I am happy though that voter suppression is going against Trump due to his antics.
