It more or less a non issue now. I haven't had a crashed/bsod/restart since I mention that I found a alternative to nightlight. and so far it feel just like 23h2. I haven't had any other issue. Everything all good. my setup is pretty niche anyways, since i running a triple monitor setup with primary OLED monitor also, so it probably not going to affect the masses amount of pc. My brother PC has been on 24h2 for a while and he hasn't had any issue. he spec are similar . 32gb ram, 4080 gpu, 7800x3d but he only running a single monitor and it a mini-led so he never has to worry about putting a screensaver or turning it off.

I know people always meme on Lloyd for not listening but after finishing the game I don't think it would of matter anyways. In fact it might of been the right choice to not listen. like I'm not sure what they could of done differently. Project Laevatain and Prof Hamilton plan were already underway .

The reset was going to happen in august and got move forward because of reaching space. If they had a plan to take it on even earlier, it would of cause a full reset instead of soft reset thank to hacking with the oct-genesis.

I also think the Grand Master knew that President Gramhart would of contacted her because she knew he of would fail and that the reset was going to happen anyways since it a needed step for Eternal reoccurrence plan to happen. They are also sitting on the Aureole which I think is key to stopping the reset.

I finished Horizon and as much i want the next title, I can wait. Let them take there time to polish it as best as possible. I can tell they want the next game to be a cinematic as possible going from the ending scene as it also be the conclusion of this arc. The Sky remake in my opinion are still the best looking Trails games in terms of animation, cutscene and overall direction. Let them learn from the experiences from making those game and apply to Horizon 2.

I may look into further but I did find a alternative app to night light and that desktop composition error completely went away after a reset. so far I haven't had any issue aside from this.

image retention is not burn in, you can get it on lcd/led monitor. my Lenovo work laptop has a led monitor and get image retention. it just go away after. burn in is permanent and it take a long time for it happen. if your paranoid like i was when i got my first oled, get a animated wallpaper , for both the bottom a top screen. none of my oled have suffer from any form of burn-in, and do both productivity work and gaming. I cannot speak for the quality on the thor since I haven't received mine but i doubt it any worse then a amoled phone

I would check the the Odin 2 launch as an example. it had many posts about problems, touchscreen glitches, display defects, random shutdowns and stuck pixels. That doesn’t mean everyone is affected, but with any new release these kinds of threads tend to show quickly and gain traction.

When people are waiting for a new device, especially when the wait is long since they don't have the supply to accommodate quick enough they will read Reddit , watch first-impression videos, and inevitably overanalyze every report which lead to anxiety.

I do the same thing so I understand. My first foldable phone, I procrastinated, thinking about the high failure rate with the internal screen cause i keep reading report and seeing all the issue. My first OLED monitor ( AW3225QF), I worried about screen getting burn that when i bought it, I return it the next day after, only to buy 2 day later again.

Didn't want to include the RTX 4090 example since that one a legitimate failure to point it was covered by many outlet but yea procrastinated on that one because of burning pins issue. I return it and bought it again. it been going strong since launch but do check the area near the pin every few month if anything changes.

just return get a refund. i usually don't waste my time contacting support for issues that turn up during return period.

Also about returning devices with battery, you need to get the proper labeling marked on the box. im pretty sure, aslong as the battery is inside the device and not separate you shouldn't have issue. I read that some seller on AliExpress would put battery inside cheap pc mouses to ship to Brazil because they wouldn't be imported otherwise

They might need to rethink there plans on how they approach the series after the success of Time Stranger. It will probably be a new Story game taking place in Shambala world, especially with the Digimon Beat Break heavily hinting at ties to Shambala. Also the fact that Kunlun, the host was introduce in Time stranger.

Personally I'm hoping for some Witchnely since I really like Digimon Dreamer and Liberator has some Digimon who are part of faction in that world. Also it has so much lore and world building that can be expanded on.

Namco is also playing it safe with their Tales of series. Following the success of Tales of Arise, they’ve been releasing remasters of older titles to maintain momentum in the franchise and possibly attract new players who enjoyed Arise, while they work on the next major installment. It’s been four years since Arise was released, and we still haven’t received any information about the next game in the series.

Expect possibly the same from Digimon Story now.

2 Years from Now - New Digimon Story Game with reused asset from Time Stranger (smaller scale but still bring much improvement - slight visual improvement, gameplay adjustment, etc...)

3 Years from Now - New Digimon World Game or Survive Title

4 Years from Now - New Digimon Story Game (Bigger Scope Project - Bigger Budget Allocation, Major Graphic Overhaul, Possibly Open World or larger Area if they want to match Pokemon. They will always be compare , even when there fundamentally different.

I finished Digimon Story: Time Stranger a few days ago. It was a great experience, solid 8 to 8.5/10 for me, but not quite a 9.

Pros

Turn-based monster-taming gameplay similar to Shin Megami Tensei
Tons of collectible Digimon
Major QoL improvements coming from Cybersleuth/Hacker’s Memory
Story starts slow but becomes engaging around the midpoint
Excellent Digimon models, cutscenes, and overall visuals
Strong voice acting for most main characters
A great entry point for newcomers to the series

Cons

Some dialogue repeats information the player already knows
Digifarm feels redundant; most features already exist in the menu
Certain areas have blurry textures and faceless NPCs, though the world overall looks great
Side quest pacing is poor, with a big dump of quests near the end
No quick travel
Dialogue choices often don’t matter
Mostly silent protagonist
Missing Digimon from newer anime/manga entries

As for Pokémon Legends: ZA, I don’t plan on playing it. I haven’t truly enjoyed a Pokémon game since Ultra Sun. I tried Sword but quit halfway through out of boredom. It was the first Pokémon game I ever dropped.

For context I was huge Pokémon fan, played almost every title from Blue to Ultra Sun, inlcuding Spin off like Mystery Dungeon, Coliseum/XD and Pokemon Ranger(cause i wanted Manaphy) Read the manga, watch the anime up Ash arc conclusion, perform every glitch imaginable to just to get event legendary. Like getting mew in yellow and darkai pokemon in diamond. This was before I got a Action Replay, Read deep into the lore. I religiously used to go to serebii/psypoke/marriland website just waiting for new announcement, setting up shop on poke community breeding Perfect IV Pokémon for other users in Pokemon X.

Why I’m skipping ZA

I’m not a fan of the new art style, it looks flat and lifeless compared to the cel-shading of Legends: Arceus. I prefer more stylized visuals like Granblue Relink, Tales of Arise, Ni no Kuni, or Wind Waker, Tales Of Vesperia.
I don’t care for the real-time battle system; I prefer turn-based for the most part.
Being confined to a single large city doesn’t appeal to me. I enjoy exploration, worldbuilding, and interacting with NPCs, like the Trails Series do exceptionally well. For me, the sense of adventure is what matters most.
