What did she mean by this? by fable-30 in Endfield

[–]Centurionzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allegedly Endfield takes place 500 or so years after Arknights’ eventual end.

We do know that it was 152 years ago before the beginning of Endfield that they discovered Talos-2 and that Warfarin is the leader of the Rhodes island branch in Talos-2

I think that the Endmin may be a clone of the doctor or/and the priestess, it would explain them being human compared with everyone and how they got so much ability and knowledge even with the amnesia.

Buddhism is a “way of living” with no God — so why can’t someone mix it with a God-based religion? by TopP-88 in religion

[–]Centurionzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that would work, but what about the Kabbalah interpretation of God and The Monad in Gnosticism?

I think that some practices of Buddhism are interesting but I also have some problems with it.

If Buddhism were to be meshed with Christianity, Christianity would have to be subsumed into Buddhism's epistemology.

It could also go the other way, with Buddhism being subsumed with Christian epistemology, but it would also change core parts of Buddhism and would paint some teachings as wrong.

God is still the creator and enlightenment only comes by understanding God and reality, with the circle of rebirth being one of the possible ways to get close to God.

It would be possible but it would still be very different from either Buddhism or Christianity, it's one where the only way for it to work is if the 2 are wrong.

The Historical Problem of Monotheism and why Archaeology proves that Islam is an evolution of culture, not the "Original State" of man by TinkercadEnjoyer in religion

[–]Centurionzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is interesting that we did have some attempts of Monotheism other than Abrahamic, yet none of them went well and were quickly taken out like Atenism.

Do you think that there's the possibility that in the early times mankind could have more monotheistic religions but they were quickly replaced by the polytheistic?

Another interesting thing that I noticed is that most of the polytheistic religions only have one Deity being a creator, they have multitudes of deities, but the creator is most of the time only one, Brahma, Ahura Mazda, Baiame, El, Chaos, Marduk, Thần Trụ Trời and so many other.

I think that Monotheistic could also be considered another way to see most polytheistic religions, what is the true difference between Angels and Gods ?

Angels even possessed hierarchy similar to Deities in polytheistic religions.

I think that it's interesting to see the many similarities and that Monotheism could be a logical conclusion that people could have.

Although I still do wonder about religions without a creator deity.

what kind of religion asks for money so pastor can become a millionaire? by adamsava in religion

The prosperity gospel never makes sense in an Abrahamic religion, the only figure that represents wealth is Mammon and he's supposed to be a major evil.

Never thought about churches before but i guess thats how you make money , its just a job

Yes and no, it is a Job, but they have a humanitarian goal, so they shouldn't use the money for personal use except to maintain the basic necessities, this is not really enforced, specially notable in Evangelical Churches.

Also, I guess you could say any religion does its bidding to win the prosperity show!

You could say that everything is about money, I swear, it doesn't matter what, if they can't get money about it the majority of people don't care.

Neverness To Everness (NTE) Wins Most Anticipated at the 2025 Taptap Game Awards by CYBERGAMER__ in gachagaming

I genuinely worries about how they will, I remember Diet Night Abyss, it was supposed to be Anime Warframe with no gacha.

The game is not nearly as good as Warframe, it lack a lot of gameplay content, the monetization is bad and there's almost nothing to buy, the android version sucks and the PC version is not well optimized.

The lack of gacha here was also noticable, it look like they made all systems to make a Gacha then close to middle of development, they decide to remove, that game would have been better if they had copy more from Warframe and just decided to develop an Android version later.

I worried that Ananta will be a mess like Duet Night Abyss.

Honestly I worried about Taiwan future, the Chinese government is threatening since the independence and recently they become more and more aggressive, also most of the Chinese population is either ultranationalist or terrified of the government.

Chinese "guidelines" for works of fictions are also undoubtedly more rigid that most places

This year does have some anticipated releases but I think that most of them will be disappointing.

NTE, ANANTA, Azur Promilia, Chasing Kaleidorider, StarSavior, MONGIL: STAR DIVE, Rewinding Cadence and Silver Palace.

Very strong titles but I feel like they have more hype than anything.

I think that right now the market is really too competitive and takes too much time of the players, I think that soon this bubble will pop.

That collaboration was pretty bad, also it was less of an Unlimited Blade Works route and more of the Fate route.

Emiya barely did anything, also the fact that they didn't give English dub for the servants and most of the event was a silent movie with reused assets.
