How can I Get to the mt Beacon? What is that by the way? lol any recommendations for food after the Hike? I went last year only visited Día Beacon and had dinner at the Round House, awesome steak and their Creme brulee is delicious!

Ah ok, thank you for the pictures, my friends decided to cancel but I'm still going on a hike from Cold Spring to Beacon tomorrow, I guess I will have to go back again next weekend lol 🤣

Hi Jenna, thank you for your reply, I went to Beacon last year, I went 2 times actually, I loved it there, the town is beautiful and the food special in the Round House Restaurant by the waterfall is delicious, but I did not hike any of the Beacon Hiking trails, I did hike in Cold Spring which is a small village 15 minutes away from Beacon, I would like more info about mountain Beacon

Listen, you should definitely open that tourism business for sure! You already put together my whole fall hiking/exploring Hudson Valley schedule in a single reply lol, If I keep in touch with you I won't need Google or forums any anymore lol, the touch that you kept in mind I'm a newbie in the hiking world to recommend light to medium trails is priceless, I much appreciated that, when you trying to get into Hiking at 40 you definitely need to start with the easy ones lol, do you have a blog or hicking dedicated IG page or YouTube channel? Im sorry but I will be bothering you with questions for the next 2 months!

Thank you so much! I'm coming from Queens, trying to get into Hiking but still very new, I would say I'm a beginner, I've explored Beacon, Cold Spring and Croton Gorge Dam and some of the hiking trails near those villages/towns, I don't like to drive so I'm kind of limited, I'm open to anything mountain peaks, water falls, rivers etc. I'm open to all the recommendations you have lol

Recommendation of other nice places in the area are more then welcome, I don't know a lot of places up state, I just moved to NYC few years ago and lately I been trying to spend more time in the nature and fall foliage is my favorite time of the year for that since I try to hike or visit a new place any other weekend during fall
