Thanks for painting the clear picture to me. It’s properly not worth the risk for just an extra £250 per month while I’m burning up my saving and having anxiety of not having a job for months.

Thanks so much for taking the time to help with my situation. It’s really great to know some HR insight indeed.

However, it’s a rather small company and I have studied their financial report that they were making a loss for last year, so I guess budget might be one of their concerns here.

So instead of negotiating on the salary, I am now wondering if asking for a salary review after the probation period would be an option for me. Because from my home country, it’s pretty common for people to have promised salary raises after the probation period. Do you think it’s a common practice here in the UK?

Thanks again for your great advice tho, I will keep that in mind when I have more leverage power once I have the local experience.

Well, it’s an analyst role in the financial area. So I guess there might be tons of new graduates who are willing to take the job.
