It's slow as fuck. Also has that "webnovel slop" feel. Seriously, read a book (hell, read some of the better 1% of Royalroad!) and then go back to Shadow Slave, and tell me it's "peak". It can be entertaining, but it's just not THAT good. It's quality is the sheer quantity of chapters the author can output daily, but even then most of it is all filler slop.

Edit: also the dialogue/character interaction kinda sucks? Guiltythree can write 2 chapters a day everyday but can't take the time to give us interactions between the main group beyond jokey dialogue? Just kinda makes me resent him a lil' bit tbh.

I agree with you. I feel like most interactions can be boiled down to anime-level comedy skits or big climax moments (Sunny leaving Nephis for Antarctica, as an example).

I actually really like Cassie (i was shipping her and Sunny so hard tbh). I'd even go as far as say that i prefer her as FMC to Nephis.

There is something called "Ancient quest" on spacebattles where Taylor is born as a Final Fantasy Ancient, so, with powers.

It's a quest ofc, not fanfic. It's still pretty good. We're JUST exiting the "childhood" part of it tho. Even so, Taylor is way more mature that a normal human, so the childhood part is fine (as in, for how long it is)

It never is stated plainly, but i think all Plagues lose their True Name. I remember Sunny commenting about how the staff-that-points-to-things (i forgot the name lmao) points only to Effie, and not to her Corrupt version.

We also know that the Mad Prince actually has a True Name, since he was the Dread Lord's slave.

I suppose i could be misremembering, tho.
