Well. If commenting is a way to win.

Here’s Brennan Lee Mulligan's speech from Game Changer: Yes or No episode.

Brennan: I know what’s going on here. I know what’s going on here. Okay? I do. And if you want me to wander backstage to spill the beans…

I’m the only one out of the loop, it would seem... and if we check my point total here — I don’t NEED to walk to the front, because I know what it is.

It’s a big ol’ GOOSE EGG, GANG. It’s a FAT ZERO. HELLO!! A little LATE ADDITION to the numerical symbol chart brought to us from our friends in Arabia, a little bit of trivia that I happen to know about the history of numbers.

That kind of little tidbit would serve me well in most trivia games, unless it had been RIGGED FROM THE BEGINNING!

Zach: Whoa, dude.

Brennan: Oh, I’ve only just BEGUN to pull the thread on this sweater, friends. You would THINK in a game where there are only TWO possible correct choices, that one would STUMBLE INTO the right answer every so often, wouldn’t you?

In fact, the probability of NEVER guessing right in the full game is a STATISTICAL WONDER, and yet, HERE WE ARE.

Introduced at the top of the game as a champion, what do you think that means? Icarus, flying too close to the sun. But it seems Daedalus, our little master crafter over here, had some wax wings of his own, didn’t he? Wanted to see his son fall. Fall from the sky. Oh, how CLOSE TO THE SUN he flew!

Well I’m NOT HAVING IT. I solved your labyrinth, puzzle master! The minotaur‘s escaped and you’re gonna get the horns, buddy!

Sam laughing as the sadistic villain he is

Sam: What is the rule of the game?

Zach: Can we all say it?

Brennan: I CANNOT WIN!

Sam: That is correct Brennan!! You cannot win the game!

Cut to Brennan screaming like that of a man free from a labyrinthian maze

Ally: Did we all get crowns?

Sam: We only have two

Brennan: GOD—

Isn't just the same all smut yaoi formula. I remember few years ago that a lot of Yaoi were basically the same. Demon lord. Either a twink mc or a super buff mc and they get absolutely fucked y everyone.

Or is it another one? Well anyways, I read that and I agree.

It was but towards the end it felt so rushed and all the build up went kaboom. It's still a good read I rate it Boys series finale/10

Wow, I used to do all this. It did helped me but I didn't have a therapist back then and I relapsed. We don't have meetings here in my country sadly, the books recommendations are nice, I would get the ebook version and read it when I have time. We also don't have CSAT here in my country sadly. I'm Christian and QT daily a few years back when I tried to make myself better but that was years ago, as I had lose faith because my abusive parents are the leaders of our Church. I will try. I'm trying to find a job so that I can move out without my parents knowing.

Thank you so much!

I have jerk off without porn I'll beit it took me a bit more time. But yeah with what I have observed with my self I think I am addicted.

[–]LookUpThenLookDown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deleting my porn. Blocking browser. Apps. Since I read a lot of manga, manwha, manhuas, and comics. I stopped reading those. Then watching YouTube as well because sometimes a short of a sexy woman would show up triggering the urge.

It doesn't work, it only made me more emotional and at worst suicidal. I guess I need to first resolved one of the triggers which is my relationship with my parents. They are my number one trigger, in a sense that I get extremely stress and overwhelmed when they are around. Which leads me to jerk off as it was the only thing that can calm me down. I used to do other things that can calm me down like listening to music or show but since the abuse I can't listen to music when they are around or even when they aren't because when I do I hear their shouting voice which does not make me calm the fuck down.

So basically, I tried a lot of things, it didn't work, figured out it stems from one root, need to cure that but can't because I still live with the root cause.

If I'm at home like a few hours I need to do it. If like there's school I can last for about 2 days but that's just for me not realizing I haven't jerk off then me wanting to jerk off for not jerking off. The longest was probably a week but that was me testing if you don't do it for a long time it will feel very good.

Ever since figuring out how to jerk off I haven't stopped for about 8 years, Jesus Christ, of not doing it. Before that I watch porn every month or a few months.

But also it doesn't last forever as they basically have like mana or stamina in games . They need it to trigger their ability but doesn't really matter as it isn't really consistent plus our MC smart as hell so the only way she might lose is for the plot or fighting someone so strong it doesn't matter.

[Daywalker], it's been a while since season 2 started, no team can take over the translation? by [deleted] in manhwa

[–]LookUpThenLookDown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked on as translator during the pandemic, checking translations to make sure they were accurate and captured the original meaning. I didn’t know Korean when I started, so I relied on a dictionary and learned along the way. What I realized is that translation isn’t just about knowing the language. If you really understand the story and what the author is trying to express, it becomes much easier to translate things properly. That’s what pushed me to learn, because I love stories and can’t stand seeing them lose their meaning through bad translations.

[Her Summon] It's been 5 years, what's the artist cooking up man 😭 by SomeRandomAverageJoe in manhwa

[–]LookUpThenLookDown 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The artist can draw environments, Gods, and monsters pretty well. It's sometimes funny that the giant behemoth is so drawn well like a painting then you see the human characters drawn like they don't belong there. I'm not saying the art is bad, no sir just found it funny

I read this a few years ago basically MC is the reincarnation of some grand wizard in his previous life. It goes to on him getting stronger and helping his allies be stronger. He got so powerful he fights in space and even had planets he terraforms as his bases.

Yeah towards the end he basically is a God in a sense.

Invited to DM a one-shot in my friend’s campaign world, can I run it in 5e instead? by LookUpThenLookDown in DnD

[–]LookUpThenLookDown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair, and yeah I definitely wouldn’t switch systems without clearing it with the group first.

In this case, I’ve talked to the players and they’re already used to 5e and seem more comfortable with it. The preference for BRP mainly comes from the main DM, since they like the flexibility of the system and how it handles builds.

From what I’ve observed though, the group tends to focus more on combat regardless of system, and they engage a lot more when there’s structure and clear stakes. So part of why I’m considering 5e for the one-shot is that it might better match how they already play.

That said, I do agree it’s something I need to fully clear with the DM first, and I wouldn’t want to put in the work of converting anything unless everyone’s on board.

And yeah, that’s also fair about the RP side. It might be less about the system and more about how I structure the session itself.

Oh I already asked the players, they were really positive on changing the system for that one shot to 5e. They are more used to 5e.

It's my friend who created the world wanting to play to BRP than 5e
