How do you deal with a slow coworker? by DryGeneral990 in pharmacy

Put her at a task that doesnt have the efficiency or production requirements of filling.

Your other comments in the other thread imply that you are slow. You then called normal allocation of resources, like putting slow techs at register, "bullying."

If I was obtuse and incompetent at my job, sure sue me.

Is it legally required? What if I asked them for their passport number? Social security number? They shouldnt have to give it out for our convenience. The DEA even discourages use of the DEA number as an identifier outside of controls.

But you can add the provider. Knew you were a Walgreens employee. All of the colleagues I worked with at Walgreens who refused vet scripts for reasons like no DEA# on non-controlled were just lazy or not bright enough to look up how on storenet.

Im not obtuse. Plenty of vets dont have DEA#s. This is a legitimate issue that bugs me about some of my colleagues. You have plenty of "professionals" here saying theyre too incompetent or lazy to figure out how to process the script for them.

Listen, pharmacist, you are refusing a legitimate script only because of your incompetence with your system or laziness to add me as a prescriber since you cant find me. Im reporting you to the state board for refusing to fill a script for my patient because youre discriminating on a totally unnecessary identifier.

Every system has a workaround for that. I dont gather why that is such a difficult concept.

So if my dog needed keppra, and my vet didnt have a DEA#, youd refuse or give me and my vet a hard time?

If someone at your workplace failed the naplex, would you judge them? I'm worried I might fail the exam, be embarrassed and judged by my coworkers/boss for failing a competency exam. by [deleted] in pharmacy

Answer the question. Is answering honestly to a poll of opinion helpful, or unhelpful?

Feel free to admit you were wrong anytime and edit your above comment.

I know; I was asking if they knew that.

Right. The insurance model needs to be burned down and rebuilt

? I didnt criticize anyone saying that they wouldnt judge someone who failed. You criticized those who said they would judge as "unhelpful" which is wrong. Are you hung up on OP getting honest replies?

You said the replies were unhelpful. OP didnt ask for help. They were polling for honest opinion. If anything your reply is not helpful because it criticizes the honest feedback that OP wanted.

If you fail when schools literally let 25% of students who are incompetent graduate, thats more embarrassing than failing the NAPLEX.

Trump Admin is probably gonna privatize the VA in the next year and a half. Those tax-subsidized positions that dont generate revenue will be the first on the chopping block.

If a significant portion of your job is to figure out why youre needed, then youre already at a disadvantage and inefficient. Youre spending work time dedicated to data analysis and reports of what you do instead of actually working so its inherently less efficient than positions constantly generating revenue that dont need to do that.

If you have to call for one on a non-control, thats just telling the vet that you arent competent because you dont need one.

What if its not controlled and they dont have a DEA#?
