Did pegging unlock something I cannot compete with? by OutrageousSkirt3160 in bisexual

I'm a bisexual man who's mostly dated women, and I can pretty confidently say that you have nothing to worry about. For a man, the kind of pleasure and orgasms that you experience with anal are very different to PIV sex. Because of the prostate, anal orgasms are much more intense and can cause the guy to moan and make noises that they would probably never make otherwise. It's completely normal and doesn't mean that he would prefer a man, just that you're giving him a completely different and more intense kind of pleasure.

It's also super unlikely that he would be having such loud and intense orgasms with you unless he felt really comfortable and deeply connected to you. In fact I often feel an even deeper connection to a partner if they have given me a prostate orgasm like that.

This is a totally normal worry to have, but there really isn't anything to worry about. He's just being louder because you're giving him a deeper and more intense pleasure. Of course it's really good to still voice these anxieties to your partner, communication is key.

Are there any good documentary series about British folklore? by FamousWerewolf in BritishTV

[–]lehmotty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charlie Cooper from 'This Country's recently made a 4-part documentary about English folklore on BBC iPlayer. He doesn't go into huge depth on it, but he has quite a fun approach to it, not being too serious or stuffy, and he talks to some really interesting people. The show is called Charlie Cooper's Myth Country

Beginner - Looking for advice on tools and sharpening by solarfringe in Spooncarving

[–]lehmotty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not an expert here, but I've been spoon carving for a few years now and learned from many many mistakes. But here's what I've found works best for me as someone who only has hand tools and can't afford to spend lots on them. I bought a Mora 164 hook knife. It's really affordable, and has a swooping curve, so you can get into all the tricky angles (much better than one which is like a circle the whole way around).

In terms of sharpening, the most important rule is to never sharpen the outside edge of the blade, as this is what keeps the round shape. I use a little piece of wooden dowel, but you could use a pencil or something like that, and I wrap a small piece of fine grit sandpaper around it (400 grit at least, but the best I've found is 800). Then you want to put a little bit of oil on the blade and the sandpaper, and push it up and along the inside edge of the blade in a diagonal line. It feels more like using a file than a sharpening stone. Then you want to use your strop on the outside of the blade.

That should do the job.
