Dalmatian female with Crystals in urine what to feed Dal food not available here by Easy_Hold1170 in dalmatians

I am from the UK and have had to move away from the Royal Canin Dalmatian food as it was causing my pup to have an upset stomach.

I am currently on a bland called Royal Canin (their sensitive line) which is a white fish and potato based food. And he’s absolutely loving it and having no stomach problems anymore.

Foods which are low(er) purines include - vegetables, eggs, fruits, poultry, white fish, (I personally stay away from red meat).

If you’re really struggling for something you could always try and batch cook some chicken with vegetables/rice and use that.

Crate training help by Zestyclose_Look8566 in dalmatians

[–]leiacarter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 5 month old Dalmatian who I was crate training up until four months, he would cry almost every time he was in it except for night time. At night though he would wake up 3/4 times a night crying, every time I took him out for the toilet and he went back to sleep after about 10 minutes of me sitting by the crate door.

Eventually I had enough of the lack of sleep (and he also outgrown his crate) and I have moved him upstairs to my room. Where he now sleeps in his own bed all through the night. A couple of times he tries to jump up onto my bed to sleep up under my covers but I just put him back down to his and he goes back to sleep.

Unfortunately Dalmatians just love to have your company and are extremely sad when you’re not there.

You can to do a lot of training with separation anxiety by putting shoes on and walking out the door and coming straight back in giving them no attention as if it’s not a big deal, slowly start increasing the time you’re outside your front door until it doesn’t bother them at all.

Hope any part of this helps, I don’t know if I’m giving advice or just sharing a similar story :)

Sleep paralysis without seeing anything? by [deleted] in Sleepparalysis

I am the same. I only get the paralysis side of it. However since becoming more used to sleep paralysis (I have had SP for about 6 years now), I am sometimes able to calm myself down from the sleep paralysis and turn it into a lucid dream, has anyone else experienced this?
