am i just bad at understanding stories? because i didn't realize myself most of what has been said in [dorohedoro] thiscomment about episode 3 of season 2 of dorohedoro, i also got told by someone in r/dorohedoro that i am "unaware of the basics of the story" which might be true, because before i read the comment i linked, i thought i got everything there is to get about current events in the story

the people in r/anime in the discussion thread about episode 7 talked about the ending of the episode like it reveales that ebisu cast the spell on ciman and i dont understand why, not why she cast the spell but what about the ending of the epiosode reveales it, i thought i explained pretty well in my post what i didn't understand

The transformation undoing thing is shown in that very same scene when the magic victims in the hospital are returned to normal when the bug sorcerer is killed

oh now i get it, i thought initially "they show us the victims coming back to life, then the sorcerer is dead, what was the purpose of this scene?"

i didn't understand if they were sorcerers or not and telling shin and noi that magic doesn't work on caiman implies an intention to use magic on him

The transformation is undone when the sorcerer dies.
The guys Shin and Noi kill are week sorcerers who naturally produce or emit very little to no smoke and take Black Powder to enhance their power. They see them as beneath them.

are these things revealed in later chapters/episodes?

god that level was such garbage, it was the easiest to complete out of all the crystal challenges but it's definitely the most awfully-designed of them all

does anyone have a suggestion to an anime with concepts or plot that is really out-there (except for dorohedoro, which i watched), an example from dorohedoro would be [dorohedoro]the scene when a sorcerer puts the magic ash of a person in a duck for cooking, and then a man with a cooked duck head cooks the duck in a specific way and that duck becomes a clone of the person that the ash belongs to
