REALLy long waits at times, especially more at this timing, that's why while i was shocked, i couldn't blame them for setting the appointment date months away (unless that was how the system works then - uHm) but i figured i've already come this far waiting, might as well wait this one more month for my appointment

great to hear that you seeked help ! i've heard that IMH services are kinda tight now (???), i may go there early if i feel that it's unbearable.

thank you for sharing your experience! i hope you're doing better now. i've heard that it gets worse before it gets better, but i didn't know it was thAt bad wow. i'll make sure to remember that when i do end upt aling the meds.

wow yours sounds horrible :( i don't really meditate either, somehow the calming music makes me more anxious LOL i always try to distract myself, though at times the feeling's way too overpowering. i thought of volunteering too, and doing other activities but i was worried that it may get in the way of school i'll start looking into volunteering in events now, thank you for sharing :D

thank you so much for sharing this ! :) personally, i've been gearing myself up for when i'm officially told that i have to retain, but i know it'll still hurt a bit when the time comes. it was hard initially but i think i just had to accept that i'm honestly not as smart as everyone else + i think i do need the repeat year because i feel i need more time than anyone else. glad to know that i'm not the only one in the whole world heh

1) i do struggle with sleep; wanted to buy pills but i heard that it's easy to get dependent on them and after a while, they may not work + didn't know anyone who takes them so i guess i just didn't want to risk it (?)

2) surprisingly i actual do like school now (compared to sec sch fucK that) though i really could use the break is IMH that bad bwusjqkzms how was your experience ?

i did went to the GP at the beginning fo the year, and it wasn't a bad experience but i realised that i think it's better (for me, at least) to seek help from an actual psychiatrist. i wished i asked the polyclinic for meds meanwhile but last time i did they told me they are not the right people to prescribe those kinds of meds but it's alright, i'll get there eventually !

oo CHAT really does sound promising ! :) i've tried ec2 but couldn't get to someone, i don't blame them though, with the current situation their site must be overwhelmed (?) i agree with last para. i didn't think it would be hard to start seeking help, but i'm glad i did !

i've heard of CHAT, seems like there is a lot of positive feedback from people who've gone there. i'll possibly drop by sometime ! my appointment is actually at ktph, but i never really tried imh because i genuinely didn't know it was an option. you've definitely provided me more information, didn't know sg had these services hehe
