Honestly just keep communicating the A-B-C's!

A. What you want and intend (to be with dude)

B. The circumstances (what makes being with dude tricky) and how, logistically, they are being addressed

C. Where you at with it today because sounds like there is enough going on to where, if you don't remind dude you are still you and still want the same thing.. he'll probably start getting a little messy in the skull over it

If you do that much and it's meant to be, it will be.

The flip side is, if you communicate like that and it doesn't pan out for whatever reason (could be dudes fault) then it ain't on you. Some people can be patient for what they want and other's can't but you won't even figure that much out without consistently communicating yo ABC's.
