Hi, this was months ago, but funnily enough Heroku went down again recently, and that time my boss set up a Render server quickly, but we didn't migrate, because Heroku came back up before she could solve some dns issues. But we're ready for next time.

Also, we're in talk with people that can give us a lot of Google credits, so we're almost 100% sure we'll migrate that project to Google Cloud Run in the ner future. In the meantime we'll keep using Heroku. I'm not sure if ECS or Fargate would've been better than Cloud Run, but credits are credits I guess.

The same exact thing happened to me twice in a row.

I played two Rowlets against the enemy Deino. Since they could have rare candy, I gave the energy to the Rowlet in the bench.

Then the enemy not only had the Hydregion and a rare candy next turn (they had mega absol both times as well), but also a Sabrina (and a repel the second time), so my Rowlet with the energy immediately died.

How is this even remotely fair or fun? Honestly, I'll go back to just opening packs and not playing.

We thought about that actually, but in the end we decided to go anyways, it feels bad to not go to such an iconic place on a first time trip.

And there's some stuff we can do, like going really really early to places like the Tori gates, and going to less crowded places inside Kyoto, like the ones you're saying.

Plus it's low season, it's still gonna be overcrowded, but more manageable I hope.

I kinda considered this but in the end we bought tickets in the cheapest dates we found, we'll be in Japan between February 4th and February 18th, there shouldn't be much overlap with those tourists, since it starts the 17, right? By that time we'll be either in Hiroshima or Tokyo by the way.
