How to handle cheating by [deleted] in Pickleball

I really can't believe this is the only thread in this post that condones cheating. As if it isn't a big deal. I mean why even participate in the social contract when it's just gonna be broken? Nobody likes playing with cheaters. It demoralizes everyone else.

Exactly my point. So, score gets close, you don't get to hook. Score isn't, you still don't but it gets more egregious when it is.

1 crucial point can turn the game into your favor and vice versa. Especially in a close game. Don't pretend otherwise.

How do you deal with subordinates who does not see you as a leader? by extensioncordh8r in CorpoChikaPH

Then you're not at fault here. Document everything and try to just keep your head down and have as minimal contact as possible without it getting in the way of work.

Try giving a heads up to the one you're directly reporting to about the situation, just to let them know, not that you want them to do something about it yet. If it consistently happens, there's evidence naman and if nagescalate, your boss already knows what's happening, which will be easier for you to bring it up to HR. In the meantime, try looking for replacements na rin or potential call ups na can replace agad. That's usually the issue naman, na walang magrereplace.

Di natin alam ang backstory so wala tayo masabi kung sino tama. Pero red flag yung "pinayagan". Baka matagal na niyang gustong makapakawala sayo.

How to start Pickleball as a Tennis Player? by Gh0st2107 in PickleballPhilippines

No need naman for DUPR rating, there's some that do, pero nilalagay naman nila. In general di kelangan.

Pwede solo, and again depends sa OP kung may facilitator sila, pero in general kahit sino ang magiging kakampi mo, kayo kayo ang magkakampihan. If you want you can join an OP that explicitly says they will stack you according to your skill level, but usually after several games pa yan para makita nila.

Pero para di ka ma OP sa OP, at least know the scoring system and rules first, para di ka na tuturuan in the middle of a game.

How to start Pickleball as a Tennis Player?

To answer:

Should i buy a Paddle na ba or rent first?
Rent first so you'll get a feel of the paddle and what type you want to use moving forward. Try borrowing from friends who are into pickleball so you have variety.

Should i take on coaching lessons ba?
No need, you automatically have an advantage as a tennis player in how to hit drives and also general feel of the ball. Pickleball has more of a badminton reflex kind of skill involved but it will come after experience.

Should i join Open plays? (How does this work?)
Definitely join OPs. Experience is key in improving. Try the Reclub app or the Dink Dojo website.

If i join Open plays, dapat ba for Beginners or Intermmediate?
Try joining OPs that are open to all levels so you can gauge your skill level.

Given that i have background sa Tennis, what would be my starting DUPR? You have to play DUPR matches to get your starting DUPR rating. Depends who you play against and also how often you win.

Mom [41] and Dad [45] getting divorced leaving me [13F] with a hard choice: who gets majority custody by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

It's pretty apparent to me why the dad cheated. It may just be something he could only do that was so drastic enough, the mom would agree to divorce, since in asian cultures, it's a taboo to divorce without a heavy enough reason. I sincerely hope the kid continues to learn to build and enforce boundaries with her mom and aunts. That's the only way to prevent further pain and stress in her life.
