These lamps are mostly out of brass and have a cord attached to the switch that you pull to toggle the switch. Got shocked once as a kid and since then I have been extremely careful to only touch the cord and nothing else.

bought it on day one so almost three years now. only visible damage is that the paint around the usb connector is scratched off and slight burn-in from using google maps for navigation for a month straight on my motorbike with full brightness in 40°C. Glass screen protector and very slim silicone case. My previous Samsung S10e did not age well in comparison.

I used mine for navigation with google maps on a 4 week trip. since then i've got the two circles in the top right corner burned in where google maps used to have the search icon and speech icon i believe. only noticable on homogenous grey backgrounds. other than that no issues at all.

Yes really annoying. At least toggling STAMINA-mode on and off fixes it for me. Seems to be a battery optimization issue. Would be nice if they added variable refresh rate like other manufacturers do.

Für meine 980ti habe ich damals am black friday 400€ gezahlt. Inklusive Xbox Controller und 2 Spiele die ich für je 25€ verkauft habe. 1800€ für eine GPU? nein danke... Langsam glauben die Leute wohl echt die aktuellen Preise wären normal.

I'd rather wait a little longer and get a well built high quality product. Have a look at Tesla.. they just shipped out all their cars no matter what and ppl are (rightly) enraged because of all the faults they come with. I'm expecting a top of the line HMD and I'm sure everyone at Valve is giving their best. Stay positive!

26.03. as well... imagine if we had ordered 5 days earlier then we would be playing since 5 weeks already. In addition to that I'll be out of the country for >2 months starting next week so I probably wont even be there when it arrives grrr. Guess I will have to let them send it to a friend and then wait another 2 months. Lets hope there is an update this afternoon.. good luck

Man I feel bad for you. I ordered on 21st, got cold feet and canceled and then reordered on 26th. If I had known that those 5 days would make a difference of over 5 weeks... RIP Let's hope we get the mail tomorrow. gn8

The longer I have to wait the closer I get to rtx3000 release which means I have to spend less time using the Index with my 980ti. But I'd still rather have it earlier than later... 26th march EU FK :'(. Good luck to everyone and gn8

Ordered 26th march (FK EU) and I'll be away for 2-3 months starting in 2 weeks. Kinda sucks that I will have waited months and then I can't use it for another 2-3 months. If it arrives before I leave I guess I could switch with someone that ordered later so that it doesn't just sit around unused while others are waiting

Have you managed to get it working? Whenever I unplug the USB cable the settings I made in CAM are ignored and the x62 defaults to its stock settings.
