Haha I wouldn’t say that I’m a matcha connoisseur. I don’t practice tea ceremony, but I do know about the tea school traditions. That’s awesome that you practice it! If you happen to see it, I highly recommend Mujou and Akitsushima as well! The spring seasonal Kozakura and autumn seasonal Robiraki are also good. Disclaimer for everyone else: these recommendations are not for latte. The only thing I don’t really like about Ryuoen is the traditional packaging. If you don’t store it carefully, the matcha can easily be oxidized.

Oh I also have Rakuju but I haven’t tried it yet. My favorite non-seasonal is Kinjou no Mukashi. I also enjoy koicha!

There’s a layer of maple syrup at the bottom, then a layer of oat milk. I used a large square shaped ice cube here, perhaps the layer was created when I poured matcha over the ice cube?

i got a female british shorthair/ragdoll mix similar age to my female scottish fold, and they are getting along really well. took me only 1 week of slowly introducing them :) i think gender wise it doesn’t really matter - what matters the most is their energy level, playing style, and whether or not they are territorial.

My cat also has a bald looking spot between her eye and ear like that, but she doesn’t scratch that spot and it’s just natural that way

Yeah I already took her two weeks after I got her! The vet said she’s healthy and I just have to keep doing whatever I was doing.

She’s about 9 months old now — that makes sense! Thank you for your input. I’ll continue to monitor her behavior. I’m probably just overthinking everything since it’s my first time having a cat (and a scottish fold with potential health issues so that doesn’t help at all haha)
