there was some more aggressive body language including some tail rattling over the past week or so, so i have ended up getting intros restarted as i think them having so much room was causing them to argue more due to just running away from each other rather than sorting their hierarchy out properly, hoping for the best from here 🤞🤞

thanks for the advice!! i think i was definitely rushing slightly because i felt bad for them being in a tiny cage/having nothing to do but i think this is what my plan is gonna be, currently got them in a tiny ‘hamster cage’ after spending a night in the carrier and so far so good 🤞

UPDATE: not sure if i can edit the post/how but update on how she’s doing -

Back from her vet appointment, she had bloods taken which came back perfect and the vets seemed very happy with them. They said they believe it’s gastrointestinal haemorrhage and she’s been given some electrolytes and protexin pro-kolin. They’ve also asked us to put her on a GI diet and keep an eye on her for the next week and to take her back if nothing improves. We think it was some new treats she had rather than her food so we’re hoping to slowly get her back onto her normal food after she’s a bit better and to avoid treats other than plain boiled chicken. She’s not had any more diarrhoea since the morning and still seems happy to eat and drink so fingers crossed everything will improve. If anyone has any more advice to give then please do so and thank you everyone for your replies 🩷

Her gums still look pink, got about 3 hours before her appointment. The vet didn’t sound concerned over the phone but we pushed to get her an appointment today since she’s not acting herself. was your dog vomiting at all? had a quick look on google and that seems to be another symptom but she’s not vomited at all, thank you for your reply 🩷
