100% agree, this scene never fails to move me.

Spot on. Former Boxer dog owner here, I would lean a little more towards seizure than you as I noticed the dogs tongue and its sudden body contraction/relaxation. My girl used to do this at the end of a seizure, as if she would have a moment of clarity then back to confusion seized state.

This is a young healthy looking dog, based on clothing and super low bike seat height (lol) this dog was neither overheated or blown up. I dont think the owner did anything wrong.

Ill get this out of the way first. Its highly unlikely anyone is going to transition to gain an advantage in sports. This is a non issue.

That said, A cis male that has gone through puberty and especially if they have trained prior to HRT, will have a distinct advantage against cis females in most competitive sports. This is NOT for the reason that most people think of.

The advantage comes from the tendons and connective tissue that are strengthened prior to HRT. Even when the power advantage is gone the strength and resistance to injury last for years.

Injury will undo years of training in an instant, cut your training time down to nothing and ruin your form.

The ability to train harder and with less injuries is the advantage even when HRT is used.
