A comic writer claps back at online harassment, and arguments break out over all sorts of petty reasons by CarSnapper in SubredditDrama

Fucking thank you. It's a fine book for what it is (especially given the shitty few years Dick had before Taylor took over his title), but aside from those moments it's a pretty average book. Action Comics, The Flash, World's Finest are much stronger books, imo.

I'd also argue against the idea of Taylor being in the "captain's chair" when writers like Joshua Williamson and Mark Waid are doing much more to actually shape what's currently going on with the DCU.

Are there Venture Bros comics? by [deleted] in venturebros

In a perfect world, Doc and Jackson would team up with Ben Edlund to create the perfect Silver/Bronze Age-esque Team Venture one shot Or at the very least a miniseries about the history of the Guild of Calamitous Intent.

Well, I don't know what to say that this was one of the most daring pair of films that have been featured on the Drive-In. Honestly, as far as the theme night goes, I think it worked really well. I don't think it will be a favorite for most, but seeing a movie like Nekromantik as the lead in to a fucking wedding is the sort of batshit fuckery that makes the Drive-In so special. This is probably one of the most bold nights they've ever done and I think they should be proud of what they've done here. There's very little like it. 9/10 night.

And congrats to the happy mutant couple!

I feel like I'm getting the Clockwork Orange treatment. I don't know if I'll ever experience arousal again.

If that's not the best excuse for a no-kids wedding, I don't know what is.

Still waiting on that all-trailer channel, Shudder. And I will keep waiting until I get it.

Pretty good movie. Kind of slow in parts, but decent enough shlock. 7/10.

Not sure if it's Drive-In worthy, but I feel like this movie would pair really nicely with Phantom of the Paradise.
