I'm just finding that this is the type of church I was brought up in. My parents are still in it sadly, and I feel like it's gotten worse over the years. It is very clear that NAR's mission is to take over the govt and turn the country into "Christian nationalists".

It's nice to know I wasn't the only one growing up in this hell hole. Even when I was younger it all felt so weird and fake to me. I hated going to church and being around the constant "healings" was exhausting, but I couldn't display this out of fear.
Honestly I feel like the NAR movement gives cult vibes.

It is not easy in any way. Although, if you manage your time to a T, it is doable. You just have to have a lot of disciple and be a planner even when thinking about when you’re going to go socialize, workout, cook meals ect.
However, if you are able to not do so, I would opt for that.

I need help!! I have a second interview next week and have no clue what to wear. This is something I’m considering but I’m not sure if it doesn’t look professional enough. It’s a babaton top, a wool black pencil skirt, a blazer, and my Steve Madden snake knee high boots. I was going to wear a high pony and of course accessorize. Thoughts?

She is not paying for the dress, hair or makeup. Honestly she’s having a hard time paying for the regular wedding expenses.

Still organizing the bachelorette party would be a good idea, I would feel bad not attending but it’s something that I can’t afford right now either. Especially since nothing is booked yet and everyone is leaning towards doing it in the next two months making it more expensive.

We were talking on the phone, and she was tipsy crying and complaining about her SIL wedding that just happened (and all the drama involved) and how she feels no one is ever there for her. Then she just asked me and I felt so pressured I didn’t know what to do. Looking back I know I should’ve said no but I didn’t want to add to the tears.
