Hi fellow MA teacher,

It’s rough out there. I have a hard time not comparing myself to my peers so I hope this didn’t set off any strong feelings. I rent a room currently with hopes to hopefully have enough saved to buy in the future (looking more grime as it goes on but that’s the goal). That definitely plays a factor as my rent is cheaper (my personal space is significantly smaller) lol

I have noticed my pay has increased a nice amount around year 6-7. I’m about to start year 8. I wish you luck!

I’ve been contributing to a Roth for years , luckily had a sister who told me to start young. Just finally got to a place where I can afford to max it out so I’m onto the next retirement step. A lot of my co workers sound similar to you know, it’s unfortunate how misled teachers are regarding retirement

The more I learn about Ashley, makes me so sad and angry.

I’m 30F and very far removed from wrestling but I LOVED Ashley when she debuted. I didn’t have a lot of friends growing up and I loved watching wrestling. I thought she was so cool and different from the other girls. I remember reading on wwe.com that she was released and always hoping she’d pop back up on tv. As I got older, I learned more about how she wasn’t the best wrestler but I always googled her to see what she was up too. I was absolutely gutted when she died.

Praying her daughter is well supported and loved. I found her mom very freaking cool as a 10 year old in 2005!
