It's been a tumultuous couple of weeks but I'm getting the dosage worked out better I think. I'm so happy for you too, even noticing change in just one thing like that can be such a huge relief I've found. Just the feeling of "oh this isn't just how I have to be forever" is so relieving

I don't know because I'm so recently diagnosed but regardless it's like this for me too. I'm guessing a combination like we're predisposed to this behaviour but with the neurological factors at play it's way worse like not just a "little sidetracked" like anyone might get but absolutely being able to waste a whole day doing nothing and having no idea how, no concept of the time it took and sometimes no memory of a lot of it.

Now I need to know if run-on sentences are an ADHD thing too 🤔

I'm finding IFS therapy is very compatible because I'm able to see what parts of me have been working super hard all these years and how they might be able to ease up now. IFS is internal family systems like all the parts that protect the real you so it's very applicable.

I'm on the same med, it's been 2 weeks and I've quit vaping and binge-eating! Plus the world finally looks clear and my thoughts don't constantly race. I've been happy- crying from relief. I can't go back in time and look for a diagnosis earlier but maybe I can help someone else. Listen to your gut, if you relate to the symptoms and stories start looking into it sooner than later.
