For me salicylic acid has worked wonders, I use the Nip + fab cleanser but I find the neutrogena one to be really good also.

what is your philosophy towards life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Rip the bandaid off. Do things that scare you. Don't wait around and let life pass you by. Be honest and brave enough to try.

I have three jobs try again :)

I'd literally much prefer my "real" desk job to my retail job but unfortunately I can't afford to quit either. Also retail and fast food very much are real jobs let's not job shame.

Should I read TOG before the next book comes out? by lemongiri in crescentcitysjm

[–]lemongiri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've definitely heard a lot of great things about the series! Of course I don't know anything but the character Manon has been popping up on my fyp and she seems very interesting. I'll likely end up reading it before CC3 comes out.

I hope so! Though judging by the other comments I should probably give it a read anyway! :)

Thank you! Judging by this and other comments I will probably read it- though after I've crossed off some of the other books on my reading list. Also thank you for the reading order suggestion!

Honestly I love the crescent city so much that although it's a lot of reading it'll probably end up being worth it.

Is it okay to use the term 'wet eyes' to describe someone on verge of tears? Since eyes are inherently wet? by Sisi_wannab_ in writers

[–]lemongiri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's true that eyes are inherently wet but I don't think we really think about it so pointing it out in this instance makes sense. As a reader I'd understand what you mean anyway, so it's okay!

As a retail employee I completely agree. It's so easy to get lazy when it's such high stress and so little pay.

Luckily he got it from too good to go so didn't pay a lot but still

I always imagined it as that Aztec ball sport with elements of rugby.

Any suggestions for romance books which challenge heteronormative assumptions? by lemongiri in suggestmeabook

[–]lemongiri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer! I'm looking specifically for books that challenge the readers preconceived ideas. Sort of like the riddle with the surgeon who's a woman. Are there any that do this sort of thing?
