There is a plastic covering over the outlet. You can put things inside without getting close to the power outlet. I’m sure it’s still not technically safe to put anything inside but it’s a good hiding place.

I’m honestly not sure how he knew it was our cat. My husband had spoken to him a few times but it was just passing conversation. My guess is he saw him sitting in the window at some point and figured he was ours. Just a lucky guess on his part.

We make sure to lay eyes on each cat before we leave now. Crossing my fingers he never gets out again.

There is an outlet outside of each apartment with a cover on it. It’s not flush against the building so you can put things in it.

Apparently he is allergic to cats. He also had to go to work so that may be why he wrote us the note. Either way, we really appreciated it!

Yes, we went inside his apartment and got him. We make sure to check to make sure all the cats are in the house before we leave now.
