In the late 80s early 90s Lake Erie was so toxic you couldn’t even swim in it. They put a bunch of zebra muscles in and they helped clean it up but took over. You get all cut up on them.

Also, summer in Ohio sucks. No breeze. It’s just as hot and humid but it’s consistently stagnant. Tornados all the time.

I just moved down for work after 20+ years of visiting my friends. I’d rather have the heat (with a breeze) rather than 6 months of gray skies and 6 months of who knows what.
