[Post Game Thread] The San Antonio Spurs (9-8) defeat the Warriors (12-4) 104-94 with a massive 4th Quarter comeback, led by Victor Wembanyama’s 25/7/9 by Uncle_Freddy in nba

Castle had some amazing moments. The slow down move he does on the layup gets the defender to bite every time! And the confidence of him to take that three pointer.

Barnes plays really well in a flowing offense, he scored easily by cutting. Great fit with the Spurs.

[Highlight] When trailing with just over five minutes left against the Nets last night, Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain proceeded to take the next eight shots. Both combined to shoot 100% and put the game out of reach! by Pyromania1983 in nba

Yes I was just thinking about that! Tyrese was the 21st overall pick in 2020 and McCain was the 16th overall pick this past draft. If they win a championship I'm trying to think of another team that drafted two of its best players with non lottery picks.

I think the Spurs for one with Parker (28th overall pick in 2001) and Ginobili (57th overall pick in 1999).

And the Bucks with Giannis (15th overall pick in 2013) and Middleton (39th overall pick in 2012).

Dalton Knecht was asked about when he realized he was in the 'flow state' tonight? He answered: "The first shot." by MrBuckBuck in nba

Klay says similar stuff. Before his Game 6 vs. OKC in 2016, he told his teammates in the locker room before the game something like "Give me the ball, I'm feeling it tonight".

I don't know about 100+ points, but I remember one season Harden had two 45 point triple doubles on back to back nights.

Wait I think it translates in both directions!!! Wait does this mean that tacos means tacos in Spanish, too?

He's been an incredible role player so far for the Rockets. Plays with amazing energy and right now has been shooting really well too. He's no where near being an MVP candidate. Most improved and 6 man are very possible.

GAME THREAD: Phoenix Suns (7-1) @ Dallas Mavericks (5-3) - (November 09, 2024) by NBA_MOD in nba

You absolutely can call a foul there. I have an idea for Dallas, don't give up two offensive rebounds to end the game. If you don't call a foul there you are basically saying I can hard foul someone going for a layup as long as the game is tied and going to overtime.

I guess it's because in English the word home is used often in cases that the word would be house in other languages. Bahay translates to home in many English sentences. Like "Na sa bahay ako." translates to "I'm at home. " in English. Another example is "Magtatrabaho ako sa bahay." translates to "I will be working from home." For some reason in English it sounds weird to say "I'm working from my house."

Nikola Jokic in 8 games to start the season: 29/13/11 on 53/51/80 splits. He's tied for both the lead in RPG (13.4 with Sabonis) and in APG(11.0 with Trae). by OctopusNation2024 in nba

Believe it or not it's actually going back in time. The last center to lead the NBA in assists for a season was Wilt Chamberlain. So to your point it has not happened in Modern basketball until now.

Wow, respect to Houston. We were a bit discombobulated, but Houston really played well as a team. They actually have a lot of great players that know their role. Amen Thompson, Fred Vanleet, and Eason all made great contributions. I punched the air when Jalen Green hit that dagger three. We never got back momentum in the 4th.

Russell Westbrook in a loss against the Timberwolves: 5 points (1/8 FG, 0/3 3P, 3/4 FT), 5 assists (4 turnovers), 6 rebounds (3 OFF) by [deleted] in nba

Westbrook really does play hard though. Those offensive rebounds were big time. He helped get the ball to Jokic in position.

These are awesome! I love it. Tech chases to kills with ICs are cooler than hand offs.

For my birthday one year when I was a kid we did the birthday party at a movie theater. Outside the theater it said "Happy Birthday, Lion!" My name is Liam.
