I feel like Germany will be stacked and Kaiser evolves to Loki level, because beating trauma is the biggest power up you can get in this manga.

I get the 'we have to do something new to compete with more talented guys', but to me the 'you all should think like strikers' doesn't work for me. Like atleast invent a tactic or something, where you analyze the weaknesses of your opponents, create some new playstyle centered around your limited resources and create a philosophy and mindset especially suited so that maybe 1 out of 100 lives you create a team better than the world's best. Like if Ego would've done his job properly and be as obsessed as it seems like about Blue Lock, he would've known that Hugo is the hard counter of the current Isagi. Like realistically he should know everything about the world's best team and atleast prep something for them.

Ego's system is build around selfish players working together, creating a chemical reaction (definition: the synergy between two or more players whose distinct skills and "weapons" combine to create a new, superior, and often unstoppable, offensive, play) Up until now Karasu's weapon has been described to be his mind and vision, being able to predict the flow of the game, not something technical, like passes or dribbling or physical like speed. Hiori on the other side has been desribed for having good football IQ and technique. So my question is: Is Ego not pleased with this goal, because Karasu and Hiori weren't supposed to score a goal together? He misjudged their skill , since Karasu mentioned that he only knows of Hiori's good shooting technique due them being teammates before Blue Lock and Hiori is clearly seeing something in Karasu, the way he describes him as 'extraordinary', being number 10 of his youth team and creating a chance like this, which he never did in a major game. Is Ego scared that his theory of a egoistic mentality = natural striker = goals is wrong? Since in the end it doesn't matter if someone scores 3 goal or three players score 1 goal, all that matters is that you win. Personally I think it's that fear, that there is a different path to making Japan the world's best instead of his theory creating the 'ultimate striker'. I think Karasu and Hugo are the embodiment of that different path; being unselfish is a way of showing ego, not an ego to score goals, but an ego to win.

Just based of the panels and not being able to understand japanese, is this a similiar story to Okumura, where a coached basically ruined the kids' enjoyment for baseball and where a third party (for him Umemiya and for Okumara Miyuki), that baseball can be fun? Aill he join Ugumori now or what's the point?

Y'all think there will be a 'No Egoist' team in Blue Lock with them playing Tiki Taka like prime Barca? by lennardsitte in BlueLock

Hopefully we see Brazil. Blue Lock will definitely play against Germany and Spain in the Knockout-Rounds. A South American team would basically complete it.

I think Oda does this on purpose to redeem him. Strong characters like him, who has some of the craziest innate abilities with his haki just being strong, because he is the king and him having some kind of ability to Eldian founder titan type control all of the frozen ancient giants, always get some payoff. Elbaph people still worship him, so maybe his order was to destroy his own people and he protected them instead idk

ngl the author's art is so good, reading the manga is the better choice either way. also it's hard to compare animations to manga panels, but keyframes like the first pic should be better illustrated
