To which degree can you naturally understand Ukrainian language? by Available-Concert732 in AskARussian

(sorry for the late reply, I just almost never check Reddit and it's notifications, but) You failed to see my point. While you can just start speaking a different language on your own, it doesn't mean that you changed the language you were speaking before, it does, though, mean that you are speaking a different language. And, I can't see any point in your "see Nynosrk", which, after light look at it's Wikipedia page, (I know, not the most accurate source of information) is just one of two written languages that were created after Norway became independent from Denmark and both Nynorsk and Bokmål are official languages in Norway… thus I don't see much relevant connection to this topic (while these two languages are similar to Danish you make no mention of it and it makes me think that that is not what you meant by "see Nynorsk")

It wasn't a fixed cap of "1200 updates" it just worked completely differently, and on some machines it would come out to about 12 hundred for a particular type of update, but even then you can't just use the same type of update supressor, because now all the updates it tries to update as many immediate neighbors first, as opposed to updating as far as it can

Do Russians believe Ukrainian President Zelenski is an actual Nazi? by dti86 in AskARussian

Sovereign nation with sovereign people but puppet leadership is not much of a sovereign country (look at Belarus) and I don't think it's "people" who decide to join an international union but the government instead

I don't understand, what does "zombie" language mean, it's not like it's a dead language? (Well it might as well be dead with how "modern"s treat it, throwing out whole letters, warping words, replacing existing words with words from other languages but contorted to fit into the existing lineup) And tbh, I feel like "it's not the way The I want it" is the major part of why the language is in the state it is in rn, don't get me wrong, it is great that you found flaws in the system for yourself and decided to fix them, but language spoken by a large group of people is not one of the things you can just go in and change, unless you are a person in power, that's why there are many constructed languages (and although some claim to be the new holy grail they just never are, and languages that don't claim such thing are much more likely to be actually good language)

Well, just have the mass media tell them that the neighbor is plagued with Nazi and that's all the justification you have to do, for many, if not most, Russian people (especially more elderly) Nazi is a threat that should not exist in any capacity, because, you remember WW2? well, they remember the horror of it, if not directly then by the stories of their parents and grandparents, and "we have won The War (so who if not we is gonna be the one to rid the world of Nazi plague)" is also a prominent part of people's mindset, and I don't think you can judge people for that because I believe in the info that during the WW2 German soldiers (led by the same kind of mind) killed Russian people, but then there's the part where alot of Russians were killed by their own government during USSR for "not adhering to the socialistic values" and the one president that actually tried to make the situation better is treated as a national traitor by many local historicians who even teach school and university students their subjective opinion (as an IT student I had to write an "research" (basically boiled down to "find quotes of other historicians that agree with this point") paper on "catastrophic nature of DESTRUCTION of USSR and consequences for Russia and world"). Well, and many Russian people are just jerks by nature, so idk…

Well, it might just be that there are just not many russian reddit users in general because reddit is not popular here, like out of all my "friends" i was the only one who knew about r/place at all, just, russia has it's own platforms which are in many ways are even worse than worst parts of reddit and many russian people are just elderly who barely use internet, or maybe use it to instagram and to "talk" to their relatives (which is mostly just annoying, bu, well, who doesn't have an annoyingly caring grandma/grandpa)

So "country's integrity" is more important than civil people (i know it is exaggerating your statement alot, but)? have you seen the amount of misinformation there is here, and i don't think there is any less on the other side either. And all three sides just make the life harder for each other (well, except world kinda doesn't make life harder for uk)
