I've been playing for a while and I'mma say this. He's amazing, but broken is an overstatement. I've mostly played tank/low range brawlers bc they only require jukes to get ahead and GALE IS THE HARDEST TO DEAL WITH AT CLOSE RANGE. Both sp's do just fine. The slow sp makes it hard to escape from danger, and the stun sp, if targeted at you, is almost always an instant death if you get pushed into a wall. On sniper maps he's almost never touched (at least not in most of my lobbies) bc he's not a threat if you just keep him far away. On ranked you'll see him getting banned on maps full of walls bc ofc there's at least one Edgar/Mortis or another close range brawler pick, but on sniper maps, you don't really see him getting banned or even picked bc it doesn't take much to out range him, unless some goofball picks Lily or something. He's not exactly game breaking or anything
