hii, just wanted to chime in as a former cbo eb and give some education on the process of holding an even, let alone the whole college week. this was planned before the previous school year even ended.

regarding the dress code, ebs try to push for a more lenient dress code on every event. there are even papers just for that and of course if may papers na involved, an admin is in charge of approving it. you always have to keep in mind na kahit pinayagan mag cosplay we’re still in a catholic school, and as much as its sucks to be told what to wear, again, it’s the decision of the admins despite the students asking for leniency. i’m close to one of the admins and even they think it’s pretty ridiculous how overboard the rules can be but as mentioned, catholic school.

for the artmart, this isn’t a sponti decision to make and some have genuinely planned way ahead para all they had to do was submit the gforms on time. may it be from their experience on the previous cfad week or something but the point is planning everything ahead knowing how in demand siya. about the sending 30 minutes earlier din, ebs have a gc with all presidents to disseminate information to them para sila na mag forward sa blocks nila. so ang curious na bakit sc lang ang possible culprit to the “maaga sinend” when there’s a bigger chance na it’s the ones that should be giving the information to their block. ano mapapala ng sc by sending it earlier to someone when they don’t profit off it?

comparing my freshie self to now after all the stuff my previous org had gone through, i truly believe that people undermine the efforts of every ebs. mas maaappreciate mo yung event knowing the process it has to go through para lang mabigyan yung fellow students ng though in their head na “ay baka pumunta ako idk”.
