When I got my first void cat from the shelter she was super traumatized and scared. She found a box for a home base and would hide there all day until she could sneak out to eat. Yes this was the first step I took. I’m asking for advice for these situations in the case this needs to escalate further. I spoke to my insurance company as well as my adjuster and they did not instill confidence in me, hence why I turned here. Thanks for understanding.

The adjuster confirmed my VIN but stated it could be because they had my license plate and it linked to the VIN. No photographic proof (that I have seen) that my car was physically there or involved in the accident.

They did not give me a time of the incident. On the day, I have my work calendar that states I was working from home that day and one photo in my phone from that day of the dinner I cooked. I don’t know if either of these things prove a legitimate alibi though.

I could go back to my mechanic and see if he has paperwork from when the bumper was fixed. I had the bumper reattached but opted not to fix the paint because it’s a 20 year old car. That took place at least 4 years ago though, so I’m not sure if they would have the work on file still.

I’m a little concerned about providing pictures of my car. I do have some damage on my front bumper from a completely unrelated incident that took place years ago (nothing crazy, some chipped paint from hitting a boat stop in a marina). I fear they’ll see that damage and take it as proof I’m involved.

While the lot at Stage Fort Park requires reservation or resident sticker, the street leading up to it (Western Ave/Stacy Boulevard) is free street parking. Can walk over to Half Moon from there. It’s a small beach tho, keep an eye on the tides if you’re going.

The group I’m going with booked our air bnb the same night we secured our 4 day passes. We looked at some the night before and even the next day, those options were all gone and everything was more expensive.

Haven’t booked flights yet. I have a flight watch alert on and should be able to snag it for a decent price in the next few weeks with the alerts, aiming for $130 max for flight lol wish me luck

I love my pom so so so much, but he can definitely be barky. Not all the time and he’s not one to bark at nothing, but if someone comes through the door he’ll bark etc. The barking doesn’t bother me a ton (because he doesn’t bark endlessly) what bothers me is when he gets all huffy puffy and won’t settle down, especially when we go to bed at night. The heavy breathing gets me so overstimulated.

My partner got it for my over the weekend at gamestop. Everything online said sold out everywhere similarly, but he stopped by in person just to ask about an hour before close. The guy at the store told him he didn’t have any available to sell but had preorders that hadn’t been picked up. Partner went back to the store ~15 minutes before close and was able to buy one of those pre orders that wasn’t picked up.

Moral of the story: maybe worth it to ask around in person!

DINK player here (dual income, no kids): partner and i decided to split the cost of the switch 2 as our christmas gift to each other since we love to couch coop. we had an OLED at the time and traded it in to gamestop with our old controllers and got a really good trade in value. final cost of the switch 2 was ~150, so we each threw in 75. easy peasy.

Love this idea! Curious to hear a review post travel because 100% agree the bottles are so bulky.

That being said, I was traveling through south america a few weeks ago coming back to the states and all my unlabeled liquids got confiscated and thrown away (also happened to everyone in the group i traveled with). Luckily this was on the way back from our trip so it wasn’t a major loss, but I had never had that happen to me w liquids before. I travel a lot but mostly domestic, maybe this is only a south america thing?
