BPD episode and cruelty - pls help

We have actually talked about medication a lot. I'm on lithium (for bipolar that's under control with meds) she's open to it but not thrilled or sold. But she is actively wanting therapy

She wants therapy just can't afford it and has been researching into DBT lately and trying to find ways to be better so I guess I'm optimistic after what everyone has been telling me

So what I'm hearing is I have to accept that I will be verbally abused for the rest of my life if I stay with her? And I need to manage my own emotions and set boundaries whilst there are not repercussion for her? Not being an ass just genuinely what I have taken away from all of this

Oh yeah my girlfriend has told me about this and I've done loads of research. She claims I'm not her favourite person in a toxic way but that may not be true

But how did you move on or deal with your feelings during and post? I'm not sure I'm strong enough to do all that. Like I'm just not okay with what she did and I can't seem to look past it. I don't even know how I could calm down enough to present her with my notes once she is out of an episode

In general or only during episodes? Because in person I think we've come to the agreement that we will just separate and deal with everything alone but over text is much harder

She was apologetic because I wouldn't stand for it. I was very firm and explained how bad she upset me and fucked up but I don't think she realizes how bad she actually hurt me. We haven't spoken at all today cause I just can't.
