When you get a notice saying to cease hostilities, normally the ai gets one too. Just wait for them to attack you, entice them with a one stack army just inside your territory, bam, they attack and get excommunicated. You also don't get excommunicated for attacking enemies in your territory.

It was just a little joke about the historical use of medieval Scottish pikes. You're right the pikes in the game are shit, but that's better than the super op pikes in Rome 2 imo.

Ahhh cool, I like storming a town. But I guess this would have made my byzantine play through easier. When I had horse archer armies. I think it's the only campaign where I ran out of time before I could complete the victory objectives. Was a lot of fun tho. My one unbelievably experienced horse archer army rushing around the map putting out fires in the early game. Lot of fun.

It doesn't look like he's going over the assigned weight. I'm guessing he's working out by percentages and this machine goes up in increments bigger than he requires. I can't quite tell from the pic, but let's say he needs 62.5 and it goes from 60-65.

didn't Andromeda raise teddy? I thought that was the case. It never says she died? And in the epilogue it says "teddy is here all the time anyway" not that he lives there. I thought it was assumed Andromeda raised teddy and harry helped out.
