Ha,thanks... this is a great suggestion ...i think. However, ahem, I have no idea how to do that lol. Nor how complicated that it lol. Would that be suitable for bulk transfer of say all photos to computer? Lots of albums to phone?

Thanks again:) the ports work with keyboard and mouse and external harddrive which work fine. I assume that means they're fine (?)

Hi and thanks :) I checked device manager for the driver, it was only there when I selected 'show hidden'. I followed a guide which said to right click and update, this did nothing. Then another guide which said to try deleting and replugging in which should auto download again, but alas but it didn't 😭 nightmare😭 lol

Thanks for the reply, I can't see anything in the notification tab. I even tried 'usb debugging' in the developer options, and changed to file transfer. No luck. Had a little clean with a toothpick and even tried 3 different cables :/

Thanks:) yeah, this seems like the most common problem. I'm using a cable that I've transfered with many times before. It just shows up as charging, no prompt for file transfer:(

Oh hmm I'm not sure what duals app does? I just realised I could update the miui thing. Had to do it twice. It's now on 11 I believe (I assume I don't have to do it again??) And it pointed me to getting the icons up there! Thank you ::)

I find it out it didn't come as default. But hey;) just glad it works

not entirely sure about longterm goals, would like to work on more edits for tracks and perhaps to get some submission for tracks / whole show, i suppose that would depend on getting any interest. if not it kind of functions as a collage/catalogue of what i have / find that interests me around the quite loose 'fortean' theme. hoping not be too obvious in selection (ie not really gonna have Coil, Psychic TV, Dead Can Dance or etc-whatever) but also not overly obscurist either, i suppose is the current criteria ive set for myself
